Grigoryan Brothers tour of Spain
Australian classical guitarists Slava and Leonard Grigoryan performed with outstanding success at three concerts in Spain organised by the Embassy. The first concert, held in the iconic Casa Asia (“Asia House”) in Barcelona, drew a standing room only audience of 80 of the Embassy’s Barcelona-based commercial, cultural and media contacts. The second concert, held in the Cervantes Institute in Madrid, was attended by more than 150 of key government, cultural and commercial interlocutors. The third concert, held in the Royal Family’s former summer palace in La Granja de San Idelfonso near Segovia, drew local dignitaries and 120 members of the general public. The concerts raised the profile of the Grigoryan brothers in Spain, and provided opportunities for them to discuss with key music contacts the scope for future commercial concerts.
